Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a timely and safe manner. You will be home each night and act as a company ambassador with a strong focus on customer service and safety.

This role involves operating trucks and trailers, maintaining logs, and performing pre-trip inspections. Key duties include drop-offs, pickups, and assisting customers with equipment needs while adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers safely and on time.
• Operate construction equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers.
• Adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company safety rules.
• Maintain drivers logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties as assigned.
