Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Fontana, CA seeks a CDL-A Local Driver for a home-daily schedule on a dedicated local fleet. You will run set lanes in Southern California with occasional trips to Las Vegas, NV, handling preloaded freight and multi-stop deliveries.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card. Expect 6 days/week with 10–12 hour shifts and evening starts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Reliable transportation to the yard daily.
• Must be comfortable with multi-stop deliveries.
• Must be willing to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated local day-cab fleet.
• Approximately 1,400 miles per week.
• Preloaded freight.
• Multi-stop deliveries.
• Driver-monitored offload.
• Offload using 28' trailers, manual pallet jack, and liftgate.
• Routes throughout Southern California.
• Occasional loads to Las Vegas, NV.
