Job summary

POOLCORP is hiring CDL drivers for local deliveries in La Vergne, TN. Expect home every night with a 7:00 am start, 40+ hour weeks, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will deliver, load/unload, collect payments, and maintain DOT compliance while ensuring safety at all times.

Must be 21+, hold a valid Class A CDL with HazMat, pass MVR/PSP checks, and have good communication and customer service skills. Moffett/air-brake experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement is required.
• MVR and PSP indicate no more than 2 violations or at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• Ability to maneuver weights up to 100 pounds.
• Moffett, Skelly or Air Brake experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, on-time, accurate and complete orders to customers.
• Load and unload the vehicle; secure products and separate hazardous materials as needed.
• Collect payments and document deliveries accurately.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSR and other regulations; perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained; report maintenance needs.
• Continue to increase product knowledge and perform other duties as assigned.
