Pembroke & Co., Inc. is seeking a local CDL-A driver to join our Maine-based team. Expect routes between trucking facilities, warehouses, and customer locations mainly within New England, with frequent trips to the Boston area. This role emphasizes local driving with no overnight travel and a steady daytime schedule.

The driver will operate flatbeds and vans, complete 1–2 daily stops, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining logs and vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• CDL-A driving experience (2+ years preferred)
• Valid Class A CDL is required
• Ability to comply with DOT regulations and safety rules
• Effective communication with dispatch and operations
• Reliable and punctual daily attendance

Responsibilities

• Operate fleet vehicles (flatbeds and vans) as assigned
• Deliver and backhaul with 1–2 stops per day
• Follow routes and schedules for timely operations
• Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT requirements
• Communicate delays or issues to dispatch/ops
• Adhere to federal, state, and local driving laws
• Support team with other duties as needed
