Ruan is hiring local Class A CDL truck drivers in Richmond, California to haul grocery products for a dedicated Whole Foods account. The role involves multi-stop deliveries, unloading with an electric pallet jack, and operating in a union environment with seniority-based bidding.

The position offers home daily schedules, 40-hour minimum weeks, and weekly pay with overtime after 8 hours per day. Candidates must have a CDL, valid experience, and meet DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in past 3 years.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway signs, safety instructions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive a late-model day cab.
• Pull refrigerated trailers for multi-stop grocery deliveries.
• Unload using an electric pallet jack.
• Comply with union bidding rules and safety standards.
• Participate in weekly pay and maintain accurate logs and records.
