Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to safely transport modular buildings and storage containers, locally with home daily schedules. The role involves on-site coordination, VAPS installations, and delivering to varied locations with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires a current CDL license with clean driving record.
• Requires up-to-date DOT/TC and Physical card.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using digital routing, logging, and communication tools (GPS, electronic logs).
• Experience in commercial driving with load security.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle (26,000+ lbs) to safely deliver and relocate modular buildings and storage units.
• Navigate diverse roadways and sites with appropriate delivery equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and DOT/TC compliance.
• Secure loads with proper tie-downs to meet safety standards.
• Monitor load integrity and ensure safe transport within route constraints.
• Maintain on-site communication with dispatch and customers during delivery.
