Job summary

Core-Mark International, a Performance Food Group company, is hiring a CDL-A Local Delivery Driver in Plainfield, IN. You will drive a tractor/trailer on intrastate routes, delivering food products to local customers with a home-daily schedule.

Expect a 4-day work week with overtime opportunities, weekly earnings of $1,400–$1,600 and potential annual bonuses up to $16,000. Benefits include health, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months foodservice distribution industry experience.
• Valid CDL-A; must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing/certification requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.
• Able to hand-lift and use equipment to move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to local customers on scheduled routes.
• Unload products and place in designated areas.
• Complete deliveries safely and on time.
• Interact with customers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections as required.
• Document freight and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Load customer returns and secure trailer doors.
• Record hours of service per DOT/state requirements.
