Job summary

US Foods is hiring drivers in Cedar Rapids, IA, to safely deliver products to customers and manage daily routes. You will unload merchandise, verify deliveries, handle customer transactions when needed, and perform vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL Class A with required endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
