Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Local CDL Class A Driver to deliver locally and return home daily. You’ll drive a 26-foot box truck on local routes, loading and unloading with pallet jacks, and comply with safety standards while supporting on-time deliveries to customers.

The role requires a valid CDL A, 6 months of relevant tractor-trailer experience, and a clean driving record; HS diploma preferred with ability to move various trailers. Company offers strong benefits and daily home time.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL A experience operating a tractor pulling 53 foot trailers within the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current valid CDL A license and a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds).

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and tractor trailers on local routes and site grounds.
• Touch freight with pallet jacks to load and unload pallets and equipment.
• Drive safely and follow all safety policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch personnel.
