Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver to join a dedicated local fleet in Sacramento. Earn $25/hour starting, with pay increases to $27.50/hour based on experience; enjoy home daily time, no-touch freight, and steady early-morning deliveries.

You'll perform final-mile store deliveries, handle live unloads, and work a mix of day and night shifts, with some starts before 4:00 AM. Holidays required. DOT card and valid CDL are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• First-seat experienced driver
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Must be flexible for day/night schedules and early starts
• Must be willing to work holidays

Responsibilities

• Dedicated local delivery
• Final-mile store deliveries
• No-touch freight
• Live unload and preload
• Driver picks up a trailer from another driver and completes store deliveries
• Priority unload at delivery locations
