Job summary

You will transport trailers between local facilities, ensuring safety and on-time delivery, while coordinating with dispatch and the facility team. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and at least two years of CDL experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CDL A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Two years of CDL driving experience with no major incidents.
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and report any vehicle or trailer issues to leadership.
• Safely deliver trailers to docks and pull loaded trailers as required.
• Perform pre-trip safety checks of brakes, lights, and mirrors.
• Inspect trailers before and after loading, focusing on critical areas.
• Follow traffic laws and adjust for adverse weather conditions.
• Record delivery times and hours worked accurately for data reporting.
• Secure cargo using chains or straps while in transit.
• Assist with loading/unloading when site staffing is low, maintaining product quality.
• Use GPS and coordinate with the transportation team to stay informed of routes.
