Job summary

World Oil in Parlier, CA is seeking an experienced Local Commercial Driver for a full-time role delivering hazardous and non-hazardous waste and related materials to customer sites within the western United States. The driver will operate a Class A vehicle with HazMat and other endorsements, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Class A license with Hazmat, TSA, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Monday–Friday schedule 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle safely on a daily basis.
• Plan routes and complete customer service requests efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Maintain basic vehicle upkeep and fueling.
• Deliver and pick up hazardous/non-hazardous waste to customer sites.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Provide professional customer service at all times.
