Job summary

ABF Freight is hiring for a dock/haul role at our Wichita Falls terminal. The position involves pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity to the distribution center, along with loading/unloading trailers using standard dock procedures.

Schedule varies by terminal location and may include nights and weekends. The job requires a Class-A CDL with specific endorsements, a DOT-compliant safe driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (candidates with less than 1 year may be eligible for training).
• CDL Class-A with doubles/triples, tanker and hazardous materials endorsements; no automatic restriction.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork effectively and log loading sheets.
• Exercise independent judgment in trailer setup to optimize time, resources, and energy while complying with weight distribution laws.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Perform tasks from check-in to tractor/trailer inspection and pickup/delivery of cargo.
• Other duties as assigned.
