Woerner Agribusiness in the Baton Rouge area is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A driver with flatbed and manual transmission experience to pick up and deliver sod from our regional farms and Baton Rouge outlets. You will operate a tractor-trailer, load/unload, and coordinate with dispatch to meet delivery schedules.

Great pay and benefits including PTO and holiday pay are offered for a full-time role, with local and regional routes serving the greater Baton Rouge region.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Experience with tractor-trailers and flatbed trailers preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks and forklifts as needed.

Responsabilités

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer for local and regional sod deliveries.
• Deliver freight using flatbed trucks, following traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload cargo; use forklifts when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Communicate delivery schedules and issues with dispatch and customers.
