Job summary

MCG Tran in York, PA is hiring delivery drivers for dedicated runs to Ahold/Giant stores. You will haul palletized dry and frozen groceries on a 53- or 51-foot trailer with usually two stops per trailer, and trailers are pre-loaded.

Routes cover 75–100 miles from DC, with no NYC work. Uniforms are provided, daycabs cannot be taken home, and drivers must have personal transportation. Holiday pay of $200 applies; loads are mostly drop and hook, backhaul to the yard 90% of the time.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with store personnel.
• Must be punctual and able to manage time effectively.
• Experience with palletized freight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized dry and frozen groceries to Giant stores on dedicated routes.
• Perform 2 stops per trailer; backhaul to yard with drop and hook 90% of the time.
• Maintain professionalism and comply with uniform and safety standards.
• Operate pre-loaded trailers; no NYC area work; personal transportation required.
