Job summary

Central Transport in Durham, NC is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to support our growing LTL network. This role offers home daily routes and the opportunity to operate modern equipment while representing the company to customers.

You will ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries, unload trailers at route completion, and adhere to safety and DOT requirements. A clean MVR and required endorsements are expected, with readiness to obtain others within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI within last 5 years (1 in a lifetime max)
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up freight on time and damage-free
• Unloading trailer at the end of daily routes
• Represent Central Transport with customers and maintain safety standards
