Job summary

Central Transport in Montgomery, AL is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to join our team. You will operate modern equipment, complete local routes, and be home nightly. Your duties include unloading at the end of daily routes and ensuring freight is delivered safely and on time.

This role requires a valid tractor-trailer background, potential HazMat/Tanker endorsement within 60 days, and a clean motor vehicle record. A DOT drug screen and hair follicle test must be passed.

Qualifications

• 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer upon completion of the daily route
• Deliver freight on time and damage-free
• Represent Central Transport professionally to customers
