Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers in Albany, NY. This role offers local home daily routes with modern equipment, allowing you to be home every night.

You will represent the face of the company, ensuring freight is delivered on time and damage-free, and you will unload your trailer at the end of each route. Qualifications

• 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Tank endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• No DUI in last 5 years (max 1 lifetime).
• DOT drug screen and hair follicle test required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free to customers.
• Unload trailer at end of daily route.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
