HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver to haul dry freight on set lanes with no-touch, drop-and-hook operations. This role offers daily home time and a steady five-day schedule, with potential six days during surge periods.

Drivers work on preloaded trailers with 24/7 operations and shifts to be confirmed with dispatch. The position requires at least one month of driving experience and a valid CDL-A license; reliable daily commuting to the distribution center

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• At least one month of driving experience; criteria confirmed during screening.
• Availability for five days per week and a sixth day during surge periods.
• Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7 operation, including holidays.
• Reliable transportation for daily commuting to the distribution center.

Responsabilités

• Transport dry freight on assigned local lanes.
• Pick up preloaded trailers and complete drop-and-hook deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and distribution-center personnel regarding schedules and delays.
• Follow established transportation and workplace safety procedures.
• Support additional workdays during surge periods.
