Job summary

Transporting Logistics in Staunton, VA is seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver to join a high-demand local fleet. You’ll enjoy daily home time and a reliable 5/2 schedule, with top performers earning substantial weekly pay and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Haul 100% no-touch, live unload freight to regional retailers across NC, VA, PA and WV, averaging 1,600–1,700 miles weekly. Expect 11–14 hour shifts and availability for nights/weekends/holidays in a slip-seat operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• 3 months of driving experience within the last 36 months.
• Mandatory pre-employment DOT screening including hair follicle test and urine screen, plus a DOT physical.
• Ability to work 11–14 hour shifts with nights, weekends and holidays.
• Local routes with daily home time and a 48-hour reset.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes with 100% no-touch, live unload freight.
• Deliver to regional retail locations across NC, VA, PA and WV.
• Operate in a slip-seat, day cab fleet and maintain safety compliance.
