Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Driver for the Lancaster, TX area. The role involves local P&D routes, home daily, and an AM shift with no-touch freight and comprehensive benefits.

Base pay ranges from $30.50 to $32.50 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on and retention bonus for eligible new hires. The position offers 401(k) matching, PTO, and bi-weekly pay, among other perks.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2 yrs. verified experience within the past 4 yrs. (3+ yrs preferred).
• Hazmat required.
• Minimum 1 yr medical certificate—as per 49 CFR 391.41.

Responsibilities

• Perform local pickup and delivery routes; home daily.
• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle per DOT and company regs.
• Complete multiple stops per day including pickups, deliveries, and returns.
• Provide white glove service for high-value or time-critical freight.
• Interact professionally with customers to maintain high service standards.
• Accurately manage shipping documents, PODs, and ELDs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure vehicle safety.
