Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company seeks an experienced delivery driver to perform product deliveries on Springfield routes and ensure timely, accurate distribution. You will inspect equipment, assemble orders, and maintain safe, compliant transport in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, 1+ year of route driving experience, and strong customer service. Be ready to follow DOT rules and company policies while ensuring safe, on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must know DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• At least 1 year of route driving experience required
• DOT certification required
• Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills required
• Strong interpersonal skills with multiple levels of organization
• Self-motivated; customer-focused
• Commitment to company principles and standards
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and other related duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies and request service and repairs as needed.
• Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses and ensure delivery windows.
• Place delivered products in storage locations at each route stop per customer requests.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Communicate problems to Transportation Supervisor by phone.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal directions.
• Maintain vehicle logs and records in accordance with BEK policies.
• Review customer invoices to determine items to move, gather, distribute, and deliver.
