Job summary

TransForce is seeking a local CDL A Driver for light-touch delivery based in Chicopee, MA. You will transport palletized freight across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Upstate New York using an automatic truck, with weekly pay and benefits.

Requirements include a valid CDL A, 1+ year driving experience, clean MVR, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. Work is onsite with routes based in Chicopee and start times between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• 1+ year of recent driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in last 3 years.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Deliver palletized, shrink-wrapped freight throughout the assigned service area.
• Perform light-touch freight handling as needed.
• Report to assignments in Chicopee, MA at the scheduled start time.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.
