Job summary

Tradebe Environmental Services in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Local Driver for 2nd shift to move trailers safely within the plant and to local storage facilities. You will work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with weekly pay and eligibility for a $6,000 annual bonus, plus a $0.50 shift differential.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, reading/writing English, and ability to pass respirator-related medical certification.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Manual transmission experience is mandatory.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations is expected.
• Some processing, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain a physician’s certification to wear a respirator.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule and on-site as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Safely move trailers within the plant and between plant and local storage.
• Support daily operations with the Lead Local Driver and Senior Production Manager.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Spot and move trailers to designated dock areas.
• Transport trailers to local 10-day storage yards and assist with cleaning/maintenance.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document issues.
• Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping of trucks, trailers, and docks.
