Job summary

Empire National Inc. in North Carolina is looking for experienced local company drivers. Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL and a passion for driving. This independent contractor position offers competitive pay at 70 cents per mile, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and transparent weekly payments.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of driving experience and be able to work 5 days a week. 24/7 support will be provided for all drivers.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL and a medical card.
• Experience with GPS, ELD units, and tablets.
• Must not be prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse.
• At least 23 years of age required.
• 1+ years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally for various clients as independent contractors.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state driving regulations.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.

• Must have reliable transportation & Smartphone with data.
• Must be able to work 5 days in the week (sometimes more if hours of service allow).
