Job summary

Velocity TruckingPros LLC is seeking a Local CDL-A Driver for a home-daily role with a dedicated account. Earns consistency with overnight shifts and predictable pay while staying close to home in Ohio and surrounding states.

Typical day includes 200–300 miles, 2–4 loads with 6–8 stops, and 100% touch freight with pallet jack training provided. Training rides and slip-seat operation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months.
• Live within 50 miles of Blue Ash, OH.
• Reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center.
• Able to perform live unloads.
• Clean MVR and background.
• Professional, safety-focused attitude.
• Not SAP Friendly.

If you'd rather spend your nights at home than on the road, this dedicated account offers the kind of consistency many drivers are looking for. You'll haul dedicated freight, work a predictable overnight schedule, and earn competitive weekly pay while staying close to home.

What You Can Expect

Home every day with 2 days off each week

Average $1,600 per week (around $83,000 annually)

Dedicated refrigerated and dry van freight

Routes throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky

A Typical Workday

Average 200–300 miles per day

2–4 loads with 6–8 stops

100% touch freight using a powered pallet jack (training provided)

Slip-seat operation

Paid 2-day ride-along training at $100 per day

Schedule

This account operates overnight with a 9:00 PM start time. Drivers typically work 10–12 hour shifts and must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays. Holiday weeks—including the week leading up to a holiday—are mandatory. Drivers should also be willing to support the Woodlawn operation when needed.

Additional Pay Opportunities

In addition to experience-based mileage pay (up to $0.62 CPM), drivers can earn extra through:

• $20 per stop
• $37 per unload
• $20 backhaul pay
• $25 pallet restack pay
• $25 for clean inspections

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
