Job summary

Sysco is seeking dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes. Build relationships with customers using a friendly attitude and understand their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Minimum requirements include a valid Class A CDL, ability to read and speak English, and physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with insurability standards.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to communicate and complete reports.
• Touch freight; can lift 40–60 pounds, up to 100 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Unload and deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries and supplies as required.
• Build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and meet their needs.
• Hours may include overtime, weekends, and holidays; most drivers are home nightly.
