Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Most Driver Trainees have daily routes and are home nightly.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing.
• License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public and understand signs and reports.
• Touch freight – may lift 40–60 pounds, up to 100 pounds repeatedly.
• Flexibility – overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
• Build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and familiarity with their operations to meet needs and expectations.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and accurate handling of products across routes.
• Represent Sysco professionally and maintain safety and compliance on all deliveries.
