Job summary

Sysco is seeking dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Most CDL A Drivers have daily routes and are home nightly, with excellent pay, paid vacation/holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required.
• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment testing.
• License to drive - valid CDL A with a driving record meeting insurability standards.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and to understand traffic signs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.
• Unload and deliver products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.).
• Build relationships with customers through a positive, friendly attitude and understand their operations to meet needs.
• Represent Sysco professionally and drive safety on the job.
