Job summary

Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Most Driver Trainees have daily routes and are home nightly.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Pass employment testing
• Valid Class A CDL with a driving record that meets company insurability standards
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and records
• Ability to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly, up to 100 lbs
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route
• Build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude
• Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
