Job summary

Sysco is hiring a dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver products to customer locations on an assigned route. You will build relationships with customers using a positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL with insurability-acceptable driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and record-keeping.
• Touch freight: lift/push/move 40–60 lbs, up to 100 lbs repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
• 1 year customer delivery experience preferred.
• 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience preferred.
• 6 months Food & Beverage experience preferred.
• 2 years of consistent work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customer locations.
• Unload and deliver meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries and supplies on an assigned route.
• Build positive relationships with customers and learn their operations to meet needs.
