Job summary

US FOODS® Delivery Truck Driver in Tickfaw/Hammond, LA, starts at 3–5am, Mon–Fri, and delivers meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, and supplies to customer drop-off sites. CDL A with endorsements and DOT qualification is required; six months of trucking or three months of foodservice delivery experience preferred.

Expect pay starting at $25.55 per hour with potential to earn up to $30.55, plus incentive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL A with endorsements and DOT-qualified.
• Minimum six months commercial truck driving experience or three months foodservice delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations on scheduled routes.
• Ensure timely deliveries and verify items with customers.
• Unload goods using a hand truck and place them in customer storage area.
• Handle cash or checks when required and collect payments.
• Adhere to safety and FMCSA requirements and process paperwork accurately.
