Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors is a leading distributor of drywall and building materials seeking a local CDL Driver. The role focuses on safe deliveries from facility to job sites, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining order and safety on site.

Local travel only; no over-the-road requirements. Responsibilities include operating delivery equipment, ensuring accuracy of orders, and complying with all safety and traffic regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A is required.
• Ability to unload, transport, and position materials as needed.
• Able to stand, climb, reach, bend and twist during shifts.
• Must be able to lift and carry 250 lbs with assistance.
• Experience with straight/flatbed trucks is preferred.
• Experience with drywall boom trucks is preferred.
• Experience with semi tractors/trailers is preferred.
• Experience with trailer mounted forklifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to and from job sites.
• Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed.
• Physically handle materials with a coworker.
• Oversee safe loading of the delivery vehicle for accuracy and quality.
• Follow safety directives and traffic laws at all times.
• Supervise unloading operations to ensure safe, accurate deliveries.
• Maintain site safety during deliveries and loading activities.
• Distribute and place materials per order tickets.
• Safely operate boom/crane/Gradall as required by job.
