Job summary

Sage Logistics is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers for a Dedicated Local opportunity based in Chicago, IL. This position offers daily home time, competitive pay, modern equipment, and consistent freight.

Join us to work a mostly evening shift with reliable weekly miles and a home daily schedule, while delivering exceptional service and maintaining compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background requirements.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Ability to meet all FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and required transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1600-$2000




• Freight Type:Retail Dry Van




• Average Miles: 1000-1500 per week




• Touch Freight:Driver Unload w/ Pallet Jack




• Schedule: Mostly Evening ShiftWork
