Job summary

Klosterman Baking Company is seeking dependable local CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely operate a tractor-trailer and unload/deliver bread products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Drivers will build relationships with customers using a friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, maintaining logs, unloading deliveries, and ensuring safety and quality in all routes.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL license.
No more than three moving violations in three years.
Meet all Department of Transportation guidelines.
Back trailers in and out of docks.
Honest, respectful, and calm under adversity.
Accurately track and record hours and complete driving logs.
Keep a record of fuel and truck repair purchases.
Good attendance and availability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and maneuvering on roads and customer premises.
Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Operate with safety and delivery goals in mind.
