Job summary

Meyer is seeking an experienced box truck driver to join our team in Minnesota. The driver delivers on route, maintains safety, and completes paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a $24.00 per hour wage and a quarterly safety bonus. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience driving 26-28 ft box trucks or commercial vehicle over 10,001 lbs (Required)
• Valid truck driver license with state-specific endorsement
• Willing to pass drug screens and DOT medical card
• No recent moving or driving violations, insurable at standard rates
• Operate/drive a forklift

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to deliver to customers and meet schedules
• Load/unload deliveries and maneuver trucks for loading
• Comply with truck driving rules and DOT regulations
• Inspect vehicles for safety and perform preventative maintenance
• Report defects and incidents
• Complete paperwork for company and DOT requirements
• Communicate maintenance needs to Fleet Management
• Heavy lifting of 75+ lbs
