Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Non CDL Box Truck Driver for our Lake City, GA facility. The role involves operating a box truck to deliver goods, loading/unloading, and providing professional customer service. Pay starts at $21.00/hour with potential adjustments based on location and market conditions.

Shift times are Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, with occasional weekends. Candidates must have a valid REAL ID driver’s license, DOT certification, and the ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (REAL ID) required or acceptable driving record.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read/write English; compliance with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck on local and regional routes.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent shifting.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Document deliveries and maintain records.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.
• Verify orders and delivery quantities before completing deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area.
• Assist with warehouse or loading duties when required.
