Parts Authority is seeking a Box Truck Driver in Washington, DC. This role requires a minimum of one year of bobtail truck experience, a valid DOT Medical Certification, and a clean driving record.

The driver will be responsible for loading, delivering, and servicing customers, with a schedule of Monday–Friday and hours from 8:00am to 5:30pm. We offer several benefits and a promotable career path within a growing national distributor.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable Class C bobtail truck driving experience.
• Must meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21+).
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, sit for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses on time and with courtesy.
• Review orders before/after delivery to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Monitor truck gauges and maintenance checks; report issues.
• Follow dispatcher directions and optimal routes to meet schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
