Job summary

HD Supply delivers customer orders using a company or rental vehicle and maintains delivery records. The role requires a valid driver’s license, and MVR monitoring will be conducted to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Professionals will load and unload orders, interact with customers professionally, and follow DOT regulations during trips. Experience with material handling equipment and wholesale distribution is valued.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR required.
• Ability to operate a company or rental vehicle and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area, following planned routes and safety regulations.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders at customer sites using material handling equipment.
• Reviews order manifests to ensure orders and routes are complete and accurate.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintains contact with the distribution center to receive instructions on interruptions.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records.
• Contacts customers to provide updates on delivery statuses.
• Provides feedback to management on escalated customer service and sales issues.
