Job summary

You will inspect the vehicle, load and unload goods, and ensure accurate delivery records. The position emphasizes safety, customer service, and compliance with alcohol regulations, with opportunities to contribute to sales follow-up

• DOT certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment prior to commencing route.
• Coordinate with routers to obtain delivery schedule and communicate delays or problems as needed.
• Drive established route to deliver wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage products to assigned customers.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding spoilage, breakage, or incorrect product from warehouse.
• Assemble customer orders and place on hand truck to complete delivery cycle.
• Record route activity and produce accurate and thorough delivery records.
• Collect monies owed to the company as needed.
• Provide high level of customer service and explore additional business opportunities with customers.
• Comply with safety standards, DOT regulations, alcohol regulations, and warehouse policies.
• Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment in good working order.
• Report incidents to dispatcher (e.g., accidents, traffic violations).
• Follow/adhere to all traffic laws.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
