The role involves collecting and transporting medical waste and sharps containers, driving up to 26' box trucks, and delivering excellent customer service to hospitals and healthcare facilities along the route.

The position offers daytime hours, a 40-hour week, and a $3k sign-on bonus paid in installments. CDL drivers may earn higher hourly rates with hazmat endorsement.

Qualifikationen

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a DOT medical card.
• Experience operating 26' box trucks.
• Familiarity with DOT logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Confidence completing Level 1-3 DOT road checks.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and tenure with past employers.
• Customer-focused mindset with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Commitment to safe driving and on-time delivery practices.

Aufgaben

• Safely collect, transport, and store medical waste and sharps containers
• Operate vehicles up to 26' box trucks
• Manage assigned local routes and deliver timely, reliable service
• Complete deliveries according to schedule and communicate route changes or issues
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance including logs and roadside inspections
• Load and unload containers throughout the day (heavy lifting required)
• Organize and prioritize your truck based on route needs
• Build positive relationships with healthcare customers through professional, friendly service
