Job summary

Spring Hill Suites in Atlanta seeks a Public Area Attendant to keep all hotel public spaces sparkling. You will clean restrooms and public areas, dust surfaces, and ensure welcoming guest spaces throughout the day.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines, and strong guest service. You’ll report maintenance needs and help maintain storerooms and lost-and-found items.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floors.
• Dust furniture, pictures, and shelves in all public spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, upholstery, wash walls, ceilings, and windows.
• Replenish supplies in the business center and other public areas.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area.
• Greet guests with a positive and friendly demeanor, offering assistance when needed.
• Address any guest issues or concerns promptly, taking responsibility to resolve them.
• Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance department through proper channels.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storerooms.
• Remove lost and found items from public areas and document them accordingly.
