Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Public Area Attendant to join our team at GRAD Oxford-11057. This role focuses on keeping all hotel public areas impeccably clean and orderly, from lobbies to restrooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

The ideal candidate has at least a high school education and one year of housekeeping experience, with strong communication and teamwork to deliver outstanding guest service.

• Outgoing personality and strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in housekeeping or hotel cleanliness is preferred.
• Team player with the ability to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public hotel areas (lobby, restrooms, corridors) to quality standards.
• Clean bathrooms, dust furniture, vacuum, sweep and mop floors.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness in front desk and common areas.
• Communicate via two-way radio to prioritize tasks.
• Keep public restrooms neat; check hourly for cleanliness.
• Assist in delivering items to rooms and supporting guest rooms as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards

Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors

Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash

Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized.

Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris.

Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests. Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean.

Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays

Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.

Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of High School education

Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Outgoing personality
