Job summary

HAMPTON INN - ALEXANDRIA is seeking a friendly Lobby Attendant to keep public spaces clean and welcoming, from the lobby to restrooms and hallways. You will stay active, help guests with directions, and support the housekeeping team while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Friendly and helpful with guests and teammates.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Housekeeping or janitorial experience is helpful but not required.
• Flexible to work any shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the lobby, hallways, elevators, and public restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash as needed.
• Restock restroom supplies and monitor cleanliness throughout your shift.
• Assist guests with directions or service needs when asked.
• Report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness in service areas, closets, and storage spaces.
• Support housekeeping with additional tasks as required.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel cleanliness standards.
