Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking a Lobby Attendant responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel lobby, creating a welcoming environment for guests. This is an hourly position at $16 per hour.

Under supervision, you will clean flooring surfaces, monitor cleaning supplies, greet guests warmly, and help keep lobby areas pristine and inviting. A background check is required prior to employment; EOE statements are in effect for this role.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, evaluate and perform work on a cleaning and preventive maintenance program for all flooring surfaces of the hotel.
• Keep abreast of new cleaning procedures and products used in public spaces.
• Build a team approach among hotel departments to maintain clean and fresh public spaces.
• Always greet hotel guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Stock cleaning cart with supplies for the shift.
• Vacuum, mop, scrub and maintain hotel floors with proper tools.
• Follow safety data sheet regulations for cleaning products.
• Observe and report repairs needed for equipment and facilities.
• Empty public space trash bins and keep lobby areas clean and organized.

Education
