Job summary

World Acceptance Corporation is hiring a Financial Services Representative for our Belleville, IL branch. The role focuses on driving loan sales, managing past-due accounts, and preparing tax returns while assisting customers in person and by phone.

You will conduct daily outbound calls, balance fast-paced workloads, and meet performance goals across sales, collections, tax services, and branch operations. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
• Experience in sales, customer service, collections, or account management with measurable results.
• Ability to handle high-volume calls and difficult conversations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and close loan sales by taking applications, explaining terms, and asking for the business.
• Conduct substantial daily outbound outreach for collections, tax services, and new business generation.
• Manage delinquent accounts by securing payments and setting payment arrangements.
• Prepare individual tax returns, gather and review required documentation, and assist customers with tax questions.
• Assist customers in person with loan applications, tax preparation services, and account questions.
• Process payments, update accounts, tax documents, and document all activity in company systems.
