Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corp. is seeking a Loan Processing Specialist Entry in Rosemont, IL, to support multiple portfolios including Commercial and Wealth Management.

The role handles loan payments, payoffs, advances, wires, and maintenance, and monitors inquiries in the Loan Operations mailbox. You will ensure balance between loan system and general ledger while resolving differences and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services.
• Office or teller experience; commercial or consumer loan operations and loan documentation experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes loan payments, payoffs, advances, wires and maintenance.
• Monitors and processes loan requests and inquiries submitted in the Loan Operations mailbox.
• Reconciles items from the loan control account and reviews Teller Reports for backdating processes.
• Ensures that all transactions between the loan system and general ledger are balanced; researches and resolves general ledger differences.
• Provides customer service to external and internal customers.
