Responsibilities

• Manage loan files from approval through closing and post-closing.
• Prepare and review loan and escrow documentation.
• Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, title companies, insurance providers, and internal team members.
• Order, review, and follow up on title documentation.
• Request and review insurance and other required documentation.
• Prepare and update payoff statements.
• Track closing dates, conditions, documentation, and funding requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic loan files and internal records.
• Communicate with borrowers regarding loan status, payments, and required items.
• Assist with account servicing and payment follow-up.
• Review and coordinate draw requests on applicable loans.
• Identify issues early and independently work toward solutions.

A well-established private lending company in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a Loan Officer to join its close-knit team. This is a hands-on lending operations role for someone who enjoys owning the details of a loan, working directly with borrowers and title partners, and keeping transactions moving from approval through closing and servicing. The company has been in business for approximately 20 years and is known for its stability, long-term employees, collaborative culture, and ability to move quickly for its clients.

What You’ll Do

• Manage loan files from approval through closing and post-closing.
• Prepare and review loan and escrow documentation.
• Coordinate with borrowers, brokers, title companies, insurance providers, and internal team members.
• Order, review, and follow up on title documentation.
• Request and review insurance and other required documentation.
• Prepare and update payoff statements.
• Track closing dates, outstanding conditions, documentation, and funding requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic loan files and internal records.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, loan operations, title, escrow, banking, or a related financial services environment.
• Understanding of loan documentation and the lending process.

Experience with private lending, hard money, bridge lending, construction lending, draws, or loan servicing is helpful, but not required.

Location

This is a full-time, fully onsite position in Gilbert, Arizona.
