Job description

Position is responsible for (1) Performing a post-closing documentation review of commercial loans, construction loans, participations, Letters of Credit, modifications, extensions, Forbearance agreements, collateral change documents, Release Deeds, Guaranty releases and Assumption Agreements to ensure compliance with the credit policy of the bank, along with all other state/federal applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures (2) Setting up collateral and compliance ticklers (documentation deficiencies) on core processing system, (3) Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers (4) Adhering to the internal loan policy and procedures of the bank as well as adherence to compliance regulations and state/federal banking laws (5) Reviewing and updating operating policies and procedures specific to Review & Quality Control area (6) Maintaining department workflow standards (7) Assisting with commercial documentation review training for new loan operations personnel (8) Helping Loan Documentation Review Manager with audit, compliance, risk management and state/federal examiners to provide documents and data as requested and (9) serves as a backup for the Review and Quality Control Manager. Provides support for internal and external Loan Servicing functions.

Required Education/Knowledge
  • Associate’s degree from a two-year college in a business-related field or equivalent combination of related work experience in banking.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial, construction, participation loans and Modifications of these loan types.
  • Thorough knowledge of loan documentation and applicable lending regulations and document retention requirements to ensure practices comply with accepted standards.
  • Understanding of lending terminology and compliance regulations.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or information systems related field from a four‑year college or university.
  • nCino Commercial Lending Platform and Fiserv core processing experience.
  • Minimum of one year’s supervisory experience in a loan operations environment.
