• Work closely with loan officers for document review.
• Provide top-tier customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Ensure documents are executed properly and collateral secured.
• Process fees and handle post-closing tasks.
• Manage wire transfers, loan payments, and advance requests.

Pay is depending on experience. Minimum for Loan Administrative Assistant I is $20.79/hr

Position Details

Position Title: Loan Administrative Assistant I, II or III

Location: Northrim Bank- Commercial Loans - Anchorage (Professional Office Environment)

Job Type: Full-Time

What You'll Be Doing:

• Document Creation: Generate accurate loan documents using automated software for new loans, renewals, and term changes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers, reviewing loan documents and preparing for loan closings.
• Customer Focus: Provide top-tier customer service, resolving inquiries and ensuring smooth transactions for clients.
• Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all documents are executed properly and all collateral is secured to protect Northrim Bank’s interests.
• Post-Closing Duties: Disburse loan proceeds, process fees, and handle post-closing tasks like imaging loan documents.
• Transactions: Handle wire transfers, loan payments, advance requests, and payoffs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  • Loan Administrative Assistant I: At least 1 year of clerical experience in a lending environment.
  • Loan Administrative Assistant II: 2+ years of experience in lending or loan operations, plus familiarity with loan documentation software like CSI Runtime or LaserPro.
  • Loan Administrative Assistant III: 4+ years in lending with experience in complex commercial loans, SBA, AIDEA, or specialty loans.
• Tech-Savvy: Must be comfortable using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and adapting to new software tools.
• Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions independently.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
